Kraft Energy™ provides
curing systems and insulated enclosures to improve the hardening
process and quality of concrete roof tiles,
allowing for quicker turnaround times, better asset utilization
and more colour uniformity.
Benefits of Vapor Curing
Concrete Roof Tiles
- Reduction in curing time to less than five hours means a reduction
in aluminum mould costs.
- Accelerated vapor curing tremendously decreases the amount
of time tiles need to harden. Within six to eight hours after
production, concrete roof tiles may be removed from the hardening
chamber,
demoulded, painted and coated, and packaged.
- Kraft Energy’s variable moisture vapor, in conjunction
with insulated curing chambers and proper air circulation systems,
provide even heat and humidity distribution, while preventing
condensation and surface cracking.
- Colours are more uniform with vapor curing.
- Less breakage, especially on thin tile.
- Energy costs are typically half of comparable systems due to
the high efficiency of direct-fired vapor systems.
- Addition of a drying cycle at the conclusion of curing provides
for better drying of paints and coatings prior to packaging.
